Andrew selected for Olympic Games 2012
Andrew Baggaley, England’s leading Table Tennis medallist of all time at the Commonwealth Games has been selected to represent Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics.
England’s most prolific medal winner will make his first appearance at an Olympic Games. Andrew was ranked British No.1 through much of the qualification process and enjoyed a series of world-class results on the ITTF World Tour and latterly at the Final World Olympic Qualification tournament in Doha, Qatar.
Andrew a three times English Men’s Singles National Champion from Milton Keynes commented:
“It is a very proud moment to be selected to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games. It will be an amazing experience to be part of Team GB in London and I can now concentrate on remaining fit, healthy and at peak form for the biggest event of my career.”
